Aim

The conference aims to offer an international and clearly interdisciplinary stage for presenters and participants from all around the world to participate in STE*M education debates.

STEM education, which encompasses Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, is of paramount importance in the 21st century. There is currently a global call for a technologically skilled workforce for the 21st century workplace related to scarce skill subjects such as Mathematics, Science, ICT and Arts, and are not promoted effectively in wider communities. In this era of rapid technological advancements and complex global challenges such as a shortage of qualified educators in STEM subjects and under-resources facilities/schools, STEM education equips individuals with critical skills for success in this interdisciplinary S-T-E-*-M approaches. It fosters problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, and innovation – skills essential not only for STEM-related careers but also for addressing broader societal issues. STEM education nurtures a deep understanding of the world, encourages curiosity, and prepares learners/students to adapt to evolving technologies and industries. Moreover, it plays a pivotal role in driving economic growth, promoting scientific literacy, and ensuring a competitive workforce on a global scale. In essence, STEM education is a key to cultivating the thinkers, inventors, and innovators of tomorrow, who will influence the future and tackle the problems presented by our constantly changing environment.

We therefore aim to bring together worldwide researchers and professionals, Teachers and teacher educators, and student teachers to encourage intellectual development and provide opportunities for networking and collaboration. A secondary aim would be to provide an environment of free exchange of ideas that will offer an improvement in the quality of STE*M teaching-learning processes and sustainability in education.
The Organization Committee of STE*M conference wishes to welcome all participants; researchers, academics, educators, teaching staff and post-graduates of universities, higher education institutions and related agents for teaching and training in professional skills.
The conference will offer the participants to join two days of insight and inspiration sharing from leading education pioneers, policy makers and education experts. We are pleased to offer the program for 2024 which includes keynote speakers, workshops, research presentations and opportunities for learning at intercultural intersections.

The STE*M conference will enable the dissemination of high-quality research findings which will also contribute to the professional development of practitioners and scholars and consequently impact the quality of learning and teaching. In addition, we hope that individual participants will find opportunities for fruitful interaction with colleagues, whether old friends or new acquaintances, and will go away from the conference feeling invigorated and stimulated to embark on new undertakings.
